Job summary

Luxoft is seeking a senior hands-on engineer to improve security, release reliability, and resilience of banking applications. The role blends Java/JVM development with DevOps, SRE, and test automation across legacy modernization efforts.

Qualifications

,Experience in Java/JVM production development with hands-on coding.
Experience with TDD across multiple testing frameworks and CI/CD integration.
Strong secure coding practices and vulnerability remediation knowledge.
Experience upgrading runtimes, frameworks, and container ecosystems.
Familiarity with observability, logging, tracing, and production debugging.

Responsibilities

Lead targeted engagements addressing security, testing, release, resilience, and legacy tech challenges.
Assess code, dependencies, runtime, test coverage, deployment architecture, CI/CD, observability and risks.
Write, debug, review, and enhance production-quality code and configuration.
Define modernization plans with priorities, risks, and measurable outcomes.
Develop automated tests (unit/integration) and contribute to release automation.
Define and drive CI/CD pipeline improvements for safe, repeatable releases.
Containerize apps using Docker and support OpenShift deployments.
Improve source control, branch management, and code-review practices.
