Job summary

Luxoft seeks a Forward Deployed Engineer to improve security, release reliability, and resilience of banking apps. You will lead hands-on engagements, work with development teams, and implement remediation plans, modernizing Spring, Java, and middleware stacks while improving CI/CD and observability.

Expect heavy coding (≈70%), with testing, vulnerability remediation, and secure coding practices at the core of engagements. Collaboration with client stakeholders is essential.

Qualifications

• Hands-on software engineering with production applications.
• Expertise in Java and JVM; strong TypeScript for Node.js projects.
• Proficient in Spring and modernizing Java enterprise apps.

Responsibilities

• Lead targeted engagements addressing security, testing, release, and resilience.
• Assess code, dependencies, CI/CD, observability, and risks.
• Write, debug, review, and enhance production-code and config.
