Bestway Wholesale Limited is seeking a Category Manager to drive category plans that maximise sales and profit for Bestway Retail and our Retailers. You will cover ranging, pricing, strategy development, supplier management, and promotional planning while mentoring Category Assistants.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in FMCG wholesale or retail buying, sales or category management.
• Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
• Analytical, numerate with ability to analyse performance data.
• Ability to build relationships internally and externally with effective influencing.
• Experience creating category strategy and promotional plans.

Responsibilities

• Deliver category plans to maximise sales and profit for Bestway Retail and Retailers.
• Ranging, pricing, strategy development, supplier management, and promotional planning.
• Mentor and develop Category Assistants and oversee category activities.
• Negotiate income from suppliers for media/promotional support.
• Manage range development and price proposition; define Own Brand strategy.
