Job summary

Stantec Consulting International Ltd. is seeking a Senior Hydrologist to lead flood risk and drainage consultancy across the UK with a team of over 100 experts. Based in Leeds, Newcastle, Edinburgh or Glasgow, you will own complex projects, mentor colleagues and help shape our flood risk capability.

Your experience should cover Flood Risk Assessments, hydraulic modelling with Flood Modeller/TUFLOW/InfoWorks ICM, and hydrology methods, with strong communication to clients and regulators.

Qualifications

• Experience preparing Flood Risk Assessments in line with policy.
• Proficient hydraulic modelling using leading tools.
• Ability to lead and mentor a multi-disciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Lead flood risk and drainage consultancy projects end-to-end.
• Mentor junior colleagues and contribute to QA processes.
• Support business development and client liaison.
• Prepare high-quality technical reports for varied audiences.
