Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Senior Hydrologist to join our Water Environment Team in the UK. Based in Leeds, Newcastle, Edinburgh or Glasgow, you will lead flood risk projects, deliver hydraulic modelling, hydrology work and SuDS design, and mentor junior colleagues.

You will build trusted client relationships, engage with LLFAs and water companies, and help shape the future direction of our flood risk capability through quality assurance and business development.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Geography, Environmental Science or related discipline.
• Chartered or working towards it with CIWEM, ICE or equivalent body.
• Significant experience managing and delivering water environment projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead flood risk and drainage consultancy projects across the UK.
• Mentor junior colleagues and contribute to QA processes.
• Support business development and client relationships.
