Job summary
Stantec Consulting International Ltd. is seeking a Senior Hydrologist to join our Water Environment Team. Based in Leeds, Newcastle, Edinburgh or Glasgow, you will lead flood risk and drainage projects, mentor junior staff and contribute to business development.
You will work with Flood Modeller, TUFLOW and InfoWorks ICM, and engage with clients and regulatory bodies to deliver climate-resilient solutions. You will join a collaborative team of over 100 Hydrologists, Hydrogeologists and Water
Qualifications
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Geography, Environmental Science or related discipline; Chartered or working towards it with CIWEM, ICE or similar body.
- Significant experience managing and delivering water environment projects, with leadership and client-facing skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead flood risk and drainage consultancy projects across the UK water sector.
- Mentor junior colleagues and contribute to quality assurance and business development.
- Deliver technical reports for technical and non-technical audiences.
