Job summary

Stantec Consulting International Ltd. is seeking a Principal Hydrologist to lead advanced flood risk work and to mentor a growing team of hydrologists, hydrogeologists and water specialists.

You will oversee projects from assessment through modelling and reporting, ensuring high-quality deliverables and client alignment. Based from one of several UK offices, you will contribute to business development and strategic direction while maintaining strong technical leadership and stakeholder

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Geography, Environmental Science, or a related discipline.
• Chartered with CIWEM, ICE, or actively working towards it.
• Significant experience managing and delivering water environment projects.
• Strong leadership and communication to build trusted client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex flood risk and water environment projects for clients across the UK.
• Mentor junior colleagues and contribute to QA processes.
• Support business development and help shape the capability's future direction.

Education

Degree in Civil Engineering, Geography, Environmental Science, or a related discipline
