Stantec in the UK is seeking a Senior Hydrologist to join the Water Environment Team. Based in Leeds, Newcastle, Edinburgh or Glasgow, you will lead flood risk and drainage consultancy across the UK, mentoring colleagues and shaping the team’s direction.

You will deliver climate-resilient solutions, manage complex projects, support business development and produce clear technical reports for diverse audiences.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Geography, Environmental Science or a related discipline.
• Chartered or working toward chartership with CIWEM, ICE or equivalent.
• Significant experience delivering water environment projects with leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple complex projects and develop client relationships.

Responsabilités

• Lead a portfolio of flood risk and drainage consultancy projects across the UK.
• Mentor junior colleagues and contribute to quality assurance processes.
• Support business development and bid work for new projects.
• Deliver high-quality technical reports for technical and non-technical audiences.
