Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Senior Hydrologist to join the Water Environment Team across the UK. Based in Leeds, Newcastle, Edinburgh or Glasgow, you will own complex flood risk projects and mentor junior colleagues while expanding the team’s capabilities.

You will work on flood risk assessments, hydraulic modelling, SuDS, LLFA studies, GIS analyses and stakeholder coordination with agencies and water companies.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Geography, Environmental Science or a related discipline, and Chartered or working towards it with CIWEM, ICE or similar body.
• Significant experience managing and delivering water environment projects with leadership and strong communication skills.
• You can manage multiple complex projects, support business development and contribute to strategic direction of a growing team.
• You produce high-quality technical reports for technical and non-technical audiences and ensure rigorous QA.
