Job summary

Stantec Consulting International Ltd. is seeking a senior hydraulic modeller in the UK to lead 1D/2D modelling projects using Flood Modeller, TUFLOW and InfoWorks ICM, while mentoring junior staff and shaping service directions.

You will engage with clients and regulators, prepare technical reports and contribute to business development as the team grows, with hybrid working across multiple UK offices including Warrington.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Geography, Environmental Science or a related field.
• Chartered or working towards chartered status with CIWEM, ICE or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead hydraulic modelling projects and ensure quality assurance across outputs.
• Mentor junior colleagues and develop modelling methodologies.
• Prepare fee proposals and contribute to business development.
• Build trusted client relationships with regulators and water utilities.
