Elevation Recruitment Group are working with an Engineering company to recruit a Senior Firmware Engineer based in Leeds.

The Senior Firmware Engineer will design and develop firmware for testing and end products, as well asthe design and development of software and hardware forbothinternal and external use.

Duties of the Senior Firmware Engineer include :

• Preparation of technical documents for review
• Preparation of project documents, providing accurate time estimates on projects and product costs
• Create design documentation for firmware design (flow diagrams)
• Writing of well-commented code for use on ICs implemented on products
• Writing of well-commented code for use as unit, white box and black box tests
• Code review other members of the team
• Version Control and release code
• Management of incoming data to our server
• Participation in weekly / daily team technical meetings
• Support customers with technical requests as guided by the project or engineering manager

We would like to speak with Senior Firmware Engineers with the following skills / experience

• Knowledge of C Programming language
• Knowledge of Linux
• RTOS experience
• Knowledge / experience of Agile Development process and version control
