Job summary

You will lead financial reporting, management accounting and financial controls within a respected finance function, overseeing a team of Management Accountants and partnering with senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified ACA or ACCA with strong technical knowledge of FRS 102 and IFRS.
• Proven experience leading finance teams and delivering statutory reporting.
• Experience coordinating audits and managing financial controls.
• Collaborative, detail-oriented and proactive in process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly and quarterly financial close with accurate results and deadlines.
• Review complex accounting adjustments and ensure correct reporting standards.
• Produce insightful management information for senior leadership and board reporting.
• Maintain balance sheet accuracy and reconciliations, resolve discrepancies.
• Oversee financial controls and supporting documentation.
• Manage cash flow projections and working capital assessments.
• Coordinate external audits and statutory accounts preparation.
• Engage with tax specialists for timely submissions and regulatory reporting.
• Lead and develop a team of Management Accountants.
