Job summary

Wade Macdonald is representing a large international group recruiting a Group Management Accountant to join the central Group Finance function in West Oxfordshire. The role supports robust financial control across a multi-entity structure and offers hybrid working and strong career progression.

Key duties include coordinating statutory and management accounts, liaising with external auditors, and embedding best practice in controls while advising on complex accounting matters under FRS 102.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with ACA/ACCA.
• Experience producing statutory accounts and working with auditors.
• Experience in multi-entity environments and strong technical accounting knowledge (FRS 102).
• Excellent stakeholder management and ability to prioritise competing deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate audit timelines and responses with internal and external auditors.
• Oversee preparation and delivery of Management Accounts across a large portfolio of entities.
• Support finance teams to enhance financial controls and embed best practice.
• Ensure statutory and regulatory reporting obligations are met accurately and on time.
• Provide technical accounting guidance on reporting standards and complex accounting matters.
