Wade Macdonald is seeking a Financial Controller / Accounting Manager for a SAAS business, offering remote working from the UK with occasional travel. You will lead financial reporting under IFRS, ensure governance and risk management, and manage a finance team within a listed-group environment.

You will partner with senior stakeholders to optimise cash flow and drive process improvements, while maintaining strong financial controls and enabling strategic decisions.

Responsibilities

• Managing month-end and quarter-end reporting under IFRS.
• Overseeing financial controls and reporting to ensure statutory and group compliance.
• Identifying opportunities to enhance financial performance and cash flow.
• Preparing and reviewing journals, reconciliations and supporting documentation.
• Coordinating external audit activities and addressing inquiries.
• Partnering with operational leaders on proposals, bids and contracts.
• Overseeing governance, legal coordination and risk management across the unit.
• Leading, mentoring and developing the finance team.
• Driving improvements to financial systems and processes.
• Providing financial guidance to senior management for key business decisions.
