Job summary

Wade Macdonald represents a client, an established international software organisation, seeking a Financial Controller to own financial control across five international entities. Reporting to the Finance Director, you will lead core accounting activities and ensure robust reporting.

You will manage monthly, quarterly and annual cycles, maintain IFRS compliance (IFRS 15/16), coordinate statutory accounts and audits, oversee cash flow and working capital, and provide financial insight to support

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with IFRS knowledge (IFRS 15/16) and multi-entity experience.
• Proven leadership and ability to coach finance teams.
• Strong analytical and modelling capabilities; stakeholder management.
• Experience in statutory accounts, tax and audits across multiple countries.

Responsibilities

• Oversee core accounting across billing, receivables, payables, GL, revenue and cost.
• Lead monthly, quarterly and annual reporting for international entities.
• Maintain reconciliations and ensure robust controls.
• Coordinate statutory accounts, taxation and audit activity across countries.
• Provide cash flow forecasting and working capital analysis.
• Deliver management reporting and performance analysis.
• Support ERP/system improvements and team development.
