Job summary

GSF Car Parts is seeking a Senior Financial Accountant to take end-to-end ownership of external, investor and statutory reporting. This hands-on role involves the annual report, group consolidation, tax, ESG disclosures and liaison with auditors.

You will work closely with the Financial Controller and Head of Financial Accounting to deliver timely, accurate financial statements and robust controls across the UK group.

Responsibilities

• External, statutory and investor reporting: own end-to-end production of the annual report and consolidated financial statements.
• Lead statutory accounts for the Group and its legal entities, ensuring compliance with standards and filing deadlines.
• Manage Group consolidation and reporting across entities, including eliminations and disclosures.
• Own investor and external reporting deliverables, ensuring accuracy and clear communication.
• Lead tax accounting and disclosures, coordinating with stakeholders and advisers.
• Coordinate finance inputs into ESG/sustainability reporting with audit trails and controls.
• Own covenant reporting with timely submission and supporting documentation.
• Act as principal finance contact for external auditors; manage audit planning and queries.
• Plan and coordinate statutory audit processes and deliverables with stakeholders.
• Prepare audit evidence and papers for significant judgments and disclosures.
• Track audit findings and ensure actions are implemented.
• Own month-end accounting for non-trading/holding entities and intercompany reconciliations.
• Lead consolidation and delivery of month-end reporting; maintain balance sheet reconciliations.
• Align entity accounting with Group reporting requirements and ensure efficient close.
• Oversee reconciliation of management accounts to statutory accounts.
• Own the Group chart of accounts and data integrity across entities and outputs.
• Lead Tagetik consolidation and reporting; ensure process design and controls.
• Develop use of Accurri and Xero for relevant reporting processes; maintain documentation.
