ACTIVATE GROUP LIMITED is seeking a Group Financial Reporting Manager to lead monthly management accounts, statutory reporting under FRS 102, and strengthening the control environment across the UK group. The role collaborates with the Director of Finance, external auditors and business leadership to deliver timely reports, ensure compliance, and drive improvements.

Remote working is available with nationwide teams, offering development opportunities and progression.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with at least 4 years post-qualified experience.
• Experience preparing consolidated statutory accounts under FRS 102 and monthly management accounts for a multi-entity group.
• Strong understanding of financial regulations and accounting principles.
• Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Confidence to influence and challenge leaders across the Group.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.

Responsabilités

• Prepare the monthly management accounts pack for the Group and review packs for each entity, including consolidated income statement, balance sheet and cash flow with variance commentary.
• Own the month end close process and group-wide management accounts timetable, meeting deadlines across all entities.
• Review balance sheet reconciliations and intercompany reconciliations and eliminations on consolidation.
• Lead year end audit as main contact for external auditors and manage audit timetable.
• Design, document and test key financial controls across the Group and coordinate fraud prevention efforts.
