SGN is seeking an experienced finance leader to oversee group financial control, statutory reporting and governance. The role requires a professionally qualified accountant and strong IFRS/FRS102 expertise, with a track record in external audits and stakeholder management.

You will lead the tax function, deliver the annual report, manage close processes, and drive finance transformation within a large, regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Significant experience leading group financial control and governance.
• Qualified accountant with degree in Finance, Accounting or Business.
• Strong IFRS and FRS102 knowledge for statutory reporting.
• Proven track record coordinating external audits.
• Excellent stakeholder management at executive level.
• Experience delivering finance transformation and improvements.

Responsabilités

• Provide expert financial leadership to CFO, Executive Leadership Team and Board.
• Lead SGN's tax function across UK tax, VAT and employment taxes.
• Oversee annual report and accounts delivery with high quality reporting.
• Oversee financial covenant reporting and governance processes.
• Direct Financial Reporting and Control teams with high performance.
• Maintain robust financial controls and balance sheet integrity.
• Lead month/quarter/year-end close activities with timeliness.
• Manage relationships with external auditors and statutory audits.
