Overview

Quarriers is offering a development opportunity as a Senior & Family Support Worker (dual role) for our children and families services located in Stranraer, Dumfries and Galloway.

Your new opportunity

This dual role offers someone the opportunity to develop as a Senior and a Family Support Worker supporting children with complex needs in their own home and local community.

Role structure

This dual role is full time (combined), offering 18.5 hours working as a Senior and 18.5 hours in direct support as a Family Support Worker. You will align Quarriers vision, mission and values while promoting inclusive opportunities where people can thrive enjoying activities, socialising and opportunities within the local community.

Development and qualifications

Please note the successful applicant will be required to work towards their SVQ Level 3 and PDA within an agreed timeline and in line with qualification requirements which will be supported via our Quarriers Academy.

Flexibility will be essential to meet the needs of children, young people and families supported. Shifts will include evenings and occasional weekends when required.
