Job summary

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions in London seeks a highly experienced General Manager - Facilities Management to lead in-house facility and amenity management, including Engineering, Concierge and Health & Safety. You will recruit, train and oversee service excellence, driving strategic programs and improving operations across Workplace Experience teams.

The role requires strong leadership, stakeholder engagement, and financial oversight with a focus on continuous improvement and delivering

Qualifications

• 10+ years of leadership experience in hospitality or corporate real estate / facilities management.
• Strong client-facing and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Proven track record in budgeting, financial oversight, and service improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead Workplace Experience teams and programs to ensure exceptional service delivery.
• Direct department heads to enhance employee and colleague satisfaction and operations.
• Oversee financial planning, annual budget, and KPI accountability across the scope.
• Develop and implement staff recruitment, training, and retention strategies.
• Coordinate facilities management including maintenance, vendor management, and space planning.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety regulations and industry standards.
• Engage with clients and stakeholders to deliver superior service and exceed expectations.
• Plan and oversee meetings and events within workplaces.
