Job summary

Freightliner Ltd is seeking a Facilities Manager to lead and optimise facilities management across the UK property portfolio, including delivering strategic budget control and ensuring sites remain compliant, safe and fit for purpose.

You will collaborate with operational leaders, manage refurbishment programs and drive efficiency while upholding Freightliner standards and governance across multiple sites in Birmingham, Crewe, London, Southampton and beyond.

Qualifications

• Experience accountable for Facilities Management in an operational environment.
• Strong background in commercial negotiations and FM cost reduction.
• Project management skills with fit-out or minor works experience an advantage.
• Civil engineering background would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Act as the main FM contact for operational stakeholders across land and buildings.
• Develop and implement FM standards, processes and reporting across the portfolio.
• Oversee site refurbishment, maintenance and capital projects.
• Develop and manage central FM budget and monitor energy usage.
• Drive cost-saving measures and supplier performance against SLAs/KPIs.
