Freightliner is seeking a Facilities Manager to oversee the UK property portfolio and support compliance, safety and sustainability across sites. Reporting to the Group Property Director, you will lead FM standards, manage budgets and drive continuous improvement.

The role requires strong negotiation skills, project management experience and a civil engineering background. You will work with operational leaders across rail, terminals, road and engineering functions from sites nationwide.

Qualifications

• Experience accountable for Facilities Management in an operational environment.
• Strong background in commercial negotiations and cost reduction.
• Experience in managing fit-out or minor works projects.
• Civil engineering background preferred.

Responsabilités

• Act as the key facilities contact for operational stakeholders across land and buildings (but excluding track).
• Develop, implement and continuously improve FM standards, processes and reporting.
• Manage office, depot and site reconfiguration projects, refurbishments and fit-outs.
• Develop and oversee preventive maintenance programmes across the estate.
• Develop and manage a central FM budget and monitor energy usage.
• Identify opportunities to reduce FM costs and ensure safety and compliance.
• Lead property and facilities projects and provide governance with the Group Property Director.
