Freightliner is seeking a Facilities Manager to provide operational and strategic support for its UK property portfolio. Reporting to the Group Property Director, the role ensures sites are compliant, safe and fit for purpose, while identifying opportunities to reduce FM costs and drive sustainability across the estate.

The role requires strong FM leadership across rail, terminals, road and engineering functions, with a focus on improving maintenance regimes, budget governance and contractor

Formación

• Experience accountable for Facilities Management in an operational environment.
• Strong background in commercial negotiations and reducing FM costs.
• Proven project management skills, including fit-out or minor works.
• Civil engineering background would be an advantage.

Responsabilidades

• Act as facilities contact for operations across rail, terminals, road and eng functions.
• Develop and improve FM standards, processes and reporting across the portfolio.
• Oversee site-based FM requirements including repairs and maintenance (off track).
• Manage office, depot and site refurbishments and fit-outs.
• Develop preventative maintenance programmes to maximise asset life.
• Manage central FM budget and supplier performance against SLAs and KPIs.
