Job summary

Reed is recruiting a Facilities Manager for its client in Theale, Berkshire. The role oversees building services, compliance, and operational efficiency to support a safe and high-performing working environment.

The successful candidate will lead maintenance programs, manage contractors, and drive health & safety compliance across the site, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a Facilities Manager or equivalent role.
• Strong knowledge of facilities management principles and compliance.
• Experience managing contractors and external service providers.
• Excellent knowledge of health and safety legislation and risk management.
• Experience managing facilities budgets and cost control.
• Strong organisational and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operation, maintenance, and upkeep of buildings, services, and infrastructure.
• Develop and implement planned preventative maintenance schedules.
• Ensure facilities are safe, compliant, and fit for purpose.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and asset performance.
• Coordinate reactive maintenance and resolve operational issues efficiently.
• Lead facilities improvement projects, refurbishments, and upgrades.
