Job summary

Reed on behalf of a welcoming Primary School in Slough (SL3) is seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead the day-to-day management, maintenance, health and safety and security of the school site.

Ideal candidates will have prior School Site Manager experience, a strong Health & Safety background and a full UK driving licence with D1 entitlement; the role includes line management of the Assistant Site Officer and the school minibus duties. Start date October 2026.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Site Manager within a school environment.
• Strong Health & Safety legislation, compliance and risk management knowledge.
• Willingness to drive the school minibus when required.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operation and maintenance of the school site and grounds.
• Ensure safety, security, cleanliness and regulatory compliance on site.
• Lead Health & Safety matters and oversee premises inspections and compliance checks.
• Coordinate external works and manage contractors.
• Line manage the Assistant Site Officer and coordinate cleaning operations.
