Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking an Assistant Facilities Manager to deliver proactive and reactive FM services across our Berkshire workplaces. You will oversee building management, logistics and colleague support, ensuring a safe and well-maintained environment.

Responsibilities include regular inspections, action planning, audits, support for business continuity, incident response, and line management of caretakers, coordinating with central services and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for building inspections (weekly and monthly) ensuring safe, compliant workplaces.
• Create action plans from inspections or service requests and escalate as needed.
• Ensure safety and wellbeing of people in the workplaces.
• Enable annual audits (Fire Risk Assessments, H&S audits) and report progress.
• Troubleshoot and resolve calls via the Workplace Solutions Helpdesk and escalate as appropriate.
• Support Business Continuity and minimize customer impact.
• Oversee security of buildings, including opening/closing and keyholder training.
• Manage facilities services contracts and attend regular review meetings.
• Line manage caretakers and ensure task completion.
