Job summary

Pinnacle Group is seeking a skilled Facilities Manager to lead hard FM services across multiple Exeter sites, ensuring safety, compliance and reliable operations for the education portfolio. You will manage a caretaking team, coordinate contractors and drive improvements in site performance.

The role requires proven multi-site facilities or hard services experience, strong leadership, budget control and a proactive attitude to risk.

Qualifications

• Experience managing facilities or hard services in a multi-site environment.
• Ability to lead and motivate on-site teams and contractors.
• Understanding of Risk Assessments, Method Statements, PPMs
• Experience managing performance, training, and development of FM staff.
• Skilled in managing budgets, cost control, and procurement.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations across multiple sites.
• Line manage the Caretaking team and oversee HR admin.
• Ensure safe systems of work and policy compliance.
• Monitor risk assessments, MS and permits for contractors.
• Oversee budgets, procurement, and contract variations.
• Review PPMs and close open work orders promptly.
