Job summary

Shenfield St Mary's Church of England Primary School is seeking a proactive Site Manager to join our trust of schools. You will oversee caretaking, maintenance and security across multiple sites, ensuring safe, welcoming environments for pupils and staff.

Qualifications

• Experience in site management, caretaking, maintenance or facilities management.
• Practical skills to carry out a wide range of maintenance tasks.
• Understanding of health and safety and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining the safety, security and appearance of school buildings and grounds.
• Carrying out routine maintenance, repairs and minor improvements.
• Overseeing site security and opening/closing procedures.
• Supporting health and safety compliance across multiple sites.
• Managing porterage and movement of equipment and resources.
• Supervising contractors and site visitors as required.
• Undertaking cleaning and caretaking duties to high standards.
• Responding promptly to maintenance issues and emergencies.
• Collaborating with school leaders and Trust colleagues on facilities management.
