Job summary

Pinnacle Group is seeking a Mobile School Caretaker to keep six Exeter school sites secure, clean and in good working order. The role covers opening/locking, patrols, basic maintenance and liaising with external service providers as needed.

A company vehicle is provided for business use, and the position is full-time with a weekly rotating pattern. The ideal candidate will have practical DIY skills, good customer service, and the ability to work as part of a team across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Practical DIY skills including basic plumbing, carpentry and electrical work.
• Good customer service and communication.
• Reliable and adaptable for a mobile multi-site role.
• Ability to liaise with external service providers.
• Team player with a proactive approach.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring security and access control across school sites.
• Carry out routine maintenance and minor repairs.
• Liaise with service providers for planned works.
• Assist with day-to-day facilities tasks and housekeeping.
• Respond to maintenance requests and emergencies as required.
