Job summary

IWFM is seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to oversee safe, compliant and efficient operations across our distribution centre and head office in Welwyn Garden City. You will shape facilities standards, lead improvement programmes and manage budgets, contracts and sustainability initiatives.

The role requires multi-site leadership, strong knowledge of UK health and safety law, and the ability to drive continuous improvement through engaging with stakeholders and a dedicated facilities team.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years in facilities management
• Experience across multiple sites
• Strong knowledge of UK health and safety legislation
• Experience managing contractors, SLAs and KPIs
• Experience managing facilities budgets and CAPEX
• Proactive, solutions-focused and able to lead teams and drive improvements

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day facilities management across distribution centre and head office
• Maintain facilities standards, governance and maintenance planning across sites
• Develop and implement facilities and asset management strategies
• Manage PPM, inspections, repairs and reactive maintenance
• Oversee contractors, SLAs and supplier relationships
• Manage budgets, CAPEX and supplier contracts
• Lead facilities-related capital projects and infrastructure upgrades
• Drive health and safety, environmental compliance and audit readiness
• Maintain warehouse infrastructure including loading bays and racking
• Lead sustainability initiatives and energy reduction
• Build relationships with senior stakeholders and drive continuous improvement
• Lead and develop the facilities team
