Job summary

Berry Recruitment Group is seeking a Facilities Manager for a permanent role based in Welwyn Garden City. You will oversee two sites, collaborating with the Factory Manager and local teams to drive compliance, maintenance, planning, and asset performance across locations.

Ideal candidates will have a strong facilities background in large-scale distribution or manufacturing, with multi-site experience and H&S expertise. IWFM Level 4+ and IOSH/NEBOSH are preferred.

Qualifications

• Extensive facilities management experience in large distribution/logistics/manufacturing environments.
• Experience managing multi-site locations with strong Health & Safety focus.
• Budgeting and supplier/contractor management experience.
• Ability to drive compliance, maintenance planning and asset performance across sites.

Job description

We are seeking a Facilities Manager for our client based in Welwyn Garden City on a permanent basis. You will be overseeing 2 sites and you will work collaboratively with the Factory Manager and local team teams. Your role will encompass compliance, maintenance, planning, contractor management and asset performance against both locations.

Key output deliverables include:

Statutory compliance and audit readiness

Facilities maintenance performance

Contractor Management and SLA Performance

Health and safety standards

Multi site facilities governance

Budget management

Sustainability and environmental compliance

Business continuity and site security

In terms of knowledge you will have a strong background in facilities management in a larger distribution, logistics, manufacturing or industrial environment. You will have managed multi site locations and possess strong understanding of Health and Safety.

Ideally IWFM level 4 or above

IOSH managing safety or NEBOSH

Managing fleet operations and knowledge of manufacturing and/or FMCG.

In return the company offer a salary of £40000 - £50000pa plus non contractual bonus
