Job summary

Berry Recruitment Group is seeking a Facilities Manager for a permanent role based in Welwyn Garden City. You will oversee two sites, working with the Factory Manager and local teams to ensure compliance, maintenance, planning, contractor management and asset performance.

You will bring strong facilities management experience in distribution or manufacturing, with multi-site oversight and a solid understanding of Health and Safety.

Qualifications

• Extensive facilities management experience in large distribution or manufacturing environments.
• Experience managing multi-site operations and contractor performance.
• IWFM Level 4 or above preferred; IOSH Managing Safety or NEBOSH certifications.

Responsibilities

• Ensure statutory compliance and audit readiness.
• Oversee facilities maintenance performance.
• Manage contractors and SLAs.
• Deliver capital projects.
• Uphold health and safety standards.
• Govern multi-site facilities and budget.

Job description

We are seeking a Facilities Manager for our client based in Welwyn Garden City on a permanent basis. You will be overseeing 2 sites and you will work collaboratively with the Factory Manager and local team teams. Your role will encompass compliance, maintenance, planning, contractor management and asset performance against both locations.

Key output deliverables include:

• Statutory compliance and audit readiness
• Facilities maintenance performance
• Contractor Management and SLA Performance
• Capital projects delivery
• Health and safety standards
• Multi site facilities governance
• Budget management
• Sustainability and environmental compliance
• Business continuity and site security

In terms of knowledge you will have a strong background in facilities management in a larger distribution, logistics, manufacturing or industrial environment. You will have managed multi site locations and possess strong understanding of Health and Safety.

Ideally IWFM level 4 or above

IOSH managing safety or NEBOSH

Managing fleet operations and knowledge of manufacturing and/or FMCG.

In return the company offer a salary of £40000 - £50000pa plus non contractual bonus
