Job summary

AtkinsRéalis UK Limited is seeking a Senior Estimator to join our Complex Projects team in the UK. You will support estimating service delivery from feasibility through detailed design, delivering Class 5 to Class 1 estimates across infrastructure, transport and energy sectors.

You'll work with leadership on bids, develop high-quality outputs, and mentor the team while utilising estimating software and market data to benchmark and validate estimates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Estimating, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Construction sectors or Equivalent Work Experience.
• Chartered with or working towards RICS, ICE, AACE, ACostE or similar.
• Understanding contingency and risk allowances; cross-over to estimating or forecasting costs.
• Knowledge of indirect costs and cost breakdown structures.

Responsibilities

• Produce estimates from feasibility through to detailed design.
• Support leadership in win work activities (bids, proposals).
• Complete take-offs and quantify direct/indirect costs for client outputs.
• Draft basis-of-estimate reports for Director reviews and client submissions.
