Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking an Associate Director / Estimating Manager to lead estimating service delivery across high-profile infrastructure projects. You will run feasibility through detailed design, produce both order-of-magnitude and bottom-up estimates, and support bids and proposals to grow the portfolio.

You will develop a high performing team, manage complex client communications, and ensure outputs meet governance standards using estimating software and office tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in estimating, quantity surveying, engineering, construction or equivalent experience.
• Strong understanding of contingency and risk allowances.
• Knowledge of indirect costs, cost breakdown structures and project deliverability.

Responsibilities

• Lead estimating service delivery from feasibility to detailed design across projects.
• Produce Class 5 to Class 1 estimates and support win-work activities (bids, proposals).
• Develop a high performing team and mentor junior staff.
• Lead QA and peer review of outputs and ensure client deliverables meet governance.
