Job summary

Zachary Daniels are partnering with an established business to recruit a Senior Employee Relations Advisor. This remote role focuses on providing practical ER guidance, coaching managers and handling a varied caseload within a supportive People team.

You will work to ensure fair and consistent ER case management, contribute to policy development and training, and support tribunal preparation and data-driven improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience managing ER cases and advising managers, including senior stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment law and tribunal processes.
• CIPD qualification or equivalent practical experience.
• Pragmatic, commercial approach, with ability to assess risk and recommend next steps.
• Excellent communication, coaching and relationship-building skills.
• Strong organisation and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritise a busy caseload.
• A collaborative approach and interest in improving processes and ways of working.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical advice on employee relations matters, ensuring compliance with employment legislation and company policies.
• Manage a varied ER caseload, maintaining momentum and escalating complex or sensitive matters as appropriate.
• Coach managers through formal processes, helping them reach fair and informed decisions.
• Build strong relationships with managers and People colleagues across the business.
• Maintain accurate case records and use data to identify trends and improvements.
• Support ER training and the introduction of new or updated policies.
• Assist with tribunal preparation, ACAS liaison and employee information requests.
• Contribute to wider People projects and continuous improvement.
