Job summary

Zachary Daniels are partnering with an established business to recruit a Senior Employee Relations Advisor. This remote role focuses on providing practical ER guidance, coaching managers and handling a varied caseload within a supportive People team.

You will work to ensure fair and consistent ER case management, contribute to policy development and training, and support tribunal preparation and data-driven improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience managing ER cases and advising managers, including senior stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment law and tribunal processes.
• CIPD qualification or equivalent practical experience.
• Pragmatic, commercial approach, with ability to assess risk and recommend next steps.
• Excellent communication, coaching and relationship-building skills.
• Strong organisation and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritise a busy caseload.
• A collaborative approach and interest in improving processes and ways of working.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical advice on employee relations matters, ensuring compliance with employment legislation and company policies.
• Manage a varied ER caseload, maintaining momentum and escalating complex or sensitive matters as appropriate.

• Assist with tribunal preparation, ACAS liaison and employee information requests.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced ER professional who enjoys building strong relationships, coaching managers and providing practical advice across a varied caseload.

Working closely with the wider People team, you will play a key role in ensuring employee relations matters are managed fairly and consistently, balancing the needs of colleagues with a commercial approach.

The Role

As Senior Employee Relations Advisor, you will be a trusted point of contact for managers, supporting them through ER issues and developing their confidence in managing people matters.

Alongside case management, you will have the opportunity to contribute to training, policy development and improvements to the way ER support is delivered.
