Job summary

Fluence is a global market leader delivering intelligent energy storage and optimization software for renewables and storage. The Senior Project Engineer will oversee EPC turnkey projects across the EMEA region, ensuring safe, on-time delivery within budget and contractual requirements.

You will lead cross-functional teams including civil, electrical, and procurement, drive value engineering, and ensure ISO 9001 quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical Engineering.
• 5+ years in design and execution of utility-scale power systems in the EMEA region.
• Experience with EPC projects involving high-voltage systems and renewables.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management.
• Fluency in English; German or other European languages are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate external engineering firms, subcontractors and internal teams to deliver projects on time.
• Ensure deliverables meet contractual, technical and quality requirements.
• Lead design reviews and ensure ISO 9001 compliance.
• Drive value engineering to improve design, constructability and efficiency.
• Support procurement with equipment specifications and evaluations.
• Review designs for compliance and constructability.
• Take full technical responsibility for EPC turnkey projects.
• Manage technical escalations and resolutions.
• Travel across the EMEA region as needed to support execution.
