Job summary

Fluence is searching for a Senior Commissioning Engineer to oversee the commissioning of energy storage projects across EMEA. This role involves leading project stakeholders to ensure systems meet technical standards and contractual obligations.

The ideal candidate will hold an undergraduate degree in electrical engineering and have a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience. Strong knowledge of battery storage systems and excellent communication skills in English and German are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of relevant work experience.
• Fluent in English and German.

Responsibilities

• Commission Fluence Projects with multiple stakeholders.
• Develop and execute commissioning plans including resourcing.
• Lead commissioning for commercial operations handover.
• Define testing protocols based on market rules and contracts.
• Oversee commissioning and acceptance testing of systems.
• Perform electricity market and off-taker qualification testing.
• Travel throughout EMEA and internationally.
