About the role

What you’ll be doing

As a Senior Engineer you will:

  • Leading site engineering activities and supporting the delivery team across multiple civils schemes
  • Setting out, surveying, and ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance
  • Managing and mentoring junior engineers and site team members
  • Coordinating design information, technical queries, and subcontractor interfaces
  • Ensuring all works are carried out safely, efficiently, and in line with programme requirements
  • Supporting the Site Manager and Project Manager with planning, reporting, and problem-solving.
Who we’re looking for

You will have the following:

  • Proven experience in civil engineering delivery (e.g., highways, structures, drainage, earthworks, utilities)
  • Strong technical capability and confidence in setting out and QA processes
  • Experience leading small teams or mentoring junior staff
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills
  • A proactive approach to safety and quality
  • Degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering (or relevant discipline)
  • CSCS, SMSTS/SSSTS desirable.
