Working within the SP Distribution business, you’ll play a key role in the approval of Major Distributed (DG) designs, ensuring that all proposals meet SPEN standards. You’ll support a smooth transition from design to delivery by providing clear, actionable instructions to delivery teams. You’ll also collaborate closely with Independent Connection Providers (ICPs) to ensure their installation designs are compliant with SPEN specifications and contribute to the safe and efficient operation of the network.
In addition, you’ll be responsible for the planning and design of the district distribution network, ensuring system stewardship, network security, and integrity. You’ll undertake system analysis to determine load/ connections, network alterations, and reinforcement requirements, delivering solutions aligned with Asset Management policies and customer needs.
