Job summary

bp is seeking an experienced People Relations Senior Advisor to join our UK People Relations team, providing specialist employee relations expertise across a diverse and complex business.

You’ll partner with business leaders, People & Culture colleagues, Legal and Employee Relations Advisory teams to deliver pragmatic, commercially focused advice on employee relations, organisational change and policy application.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in Employee Relations, HR, or HR Business Partnering.
• Solid knowledge of UK employment law and ER best practices.
• Proven track record managing complex ER cases from intake to resolution.
• Experience supporting organisational change and collective consultation.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex ER case management across disciplinary, performance, absence and change.
• Provide expert guidance to leaders and HR colleagues on ER matters.
• Advise on collective consultation and organisational change activity.
• Identify risks and recommend practical solutions.
• Coach and develop ER capability through guidance and knowledge sharing.
• Contribute to policy development, process improvements and initiatives.
• Partner with Legal, People & Culture and business leaders to implement sustainable people solutions.
