Job summary

AECOM, a leading global infrastructure firm, seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead data centre electrical design efforts. You will work in a hybrid model with a dynamic team, delivering reliable, efficient electrical systems across the project lifecycle.

Ideally you are chartered or progressing toward CEng, with strong collaboration skills and a proactive mindset to drive technical delivery and client satisfaction on complex data centre projects.

Qualifications

• Post Graduate experience in a building services design role with focus on data centres.
• Proficient with ETAP, Relux/Dialux, MS Project, AutoCAD and Revit.
• Familiar with regulations and industry good practice; capable of producing designs for all RIBA plan stages and supervising site inspections.
• Must have a full, clean driving licence and passport; willing to travel regionally and internationally; security clearance may be required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage the electrical delivery on small to mid-sized projects.
• Provide specialised technical input to studies and design for staff’s area of expertise.
• Manage own workload and meet deadlines on assigned tasks.
• Be a self-starter, use initiative and solve problems.
• Present technical solutions to clients and peers; contribute to technical proposals.
• Attend design team and coordination meetings as required.
• Attend site inspection meetings as required.
• Liaise with clients, professional organizations, contractors and other design team members.
