Job summary

Aldwych Consulting Ltd is seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join the Building Services team in the North. The role blends technical design with client interaction, site work and practical problem solving across projects in the North-West and Yorkshire.

You will lead site appraisals, gather site information, and translate it into the design process while coordinating with multidisciplinary teams and maintaining high quality documentation.

Qualifications

• Strong background in electrical building services design and engineering.
• Experience undertaking site surveys, technical assessments and construction-stage inspections.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to produce clear, professional technical reports and documentation.
• Willingness to travel throughout the North and hold a full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical site appraisals and surveys.
• Assess existing electrical installations and infrastructure.
• Gather and interpret technical information to support design development.
• Produce site reports, sketches and technical briefing documents.
• Act as electrical lead in meetings with clients, architects and contractors.
• Coordinate electrical requirements with other disciplines.
