Job summary

Aldwych Consulting Ltd in London is seeking an Intermediate or Senior Electrical Engineer to join our growing team. You will design electrical building services across a range of sectors from concept to completion, working with engineers, architects and multidisciplinary teams to deliver sustainable solutions.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or Building Services mandatory.
• Experience in Building Services consultancy desirable.
• Knowledge of UK Building Regulations and standards required.
• Experience designing electrical building services across sectors.
• Proficiency with Amtech/ProDesign, Dialux/Relux; AutoCAD; Revit advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical building services systems (power, lighting, emergency lighting, fire alarms, security, access control, data).
• Prepare calculations, reports, specifications and technical docs.
• Coordinate designs with multidisciplinary teams using BIM/Revit.
• Attend client, design team and site meetings.
• Carry out site inspections and support commissioning activities.
• Deliver projects through all RIBA stages.
• Manage workload and contribute to project delivery.
• Mentor junior engineers where appropriate.
