Job summary

Advance TRS is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to support wastewater projects across the UK water sector in a remote/UK-based role with occasional site travel.

The contract offers a rate of £45-£50 per hour, dependent on experience, and involves delivering electrical designs, calculations, specifications and reports, plus LV diagrams and control philosophies. Close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams is expected throughout the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Previous electrical design experience within the UK water sector.
• Experience producing electrical design documentation to industry standards.
• Previous exposure to AMP frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Electrical design across wastewater treatment and non-infrastructure projects.
• Producing calculations, specifications and technical reports.
• Developing LV electrical designs, single line diagrams and control philosophies.
• Supporting design reviews, HAZOPs and technical/client meetings.
• Working closely with mechanical, process and civil engineering disciplines.
• Supporting MEICA integration throughout the project lifecycle.
