Job summary

Pell Frischmann is seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to support wastewater projects across the UK. This long-term contract offers flexibility on IR35 status with hybrid working arrangements.

The successful candidate will be involved in the full project lifecycle, focusing on electrical design for wastewater treatment. Strong experience in the UK water sector and familiarity with tools like AutoCAD or EPLAN are required.

Competitive pay of £45–£50 per hour based on experience.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in electrical design within the UK water sector (wastewater preferred).
• Experience producing design documentation to industry standards.
• Familiarity with tools such as AutoCAD / EPLAN (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Electrical design for wastewater treatment projects (MEICA focus).
• Production of calculations, specifications, and technical reports.
• Development of LV electrical designs, single line diagrams, and control philosophies.

Skills

Electrical design for wastewater treatment projects

Strong understanding of LV systems, motors, and instrumentation

Ability to operate in a client-facing, consultancy environment

Education

Chartered or working towards (IET or equivalent)
