Job summary

Advance TRS is recruiting a Senior Electrical Engineer to support wastewater projects across the UK water sector on a long-term contract. The role is remote/UK based, offering £45-£50 per hour and flexibility regarding IR35 status.

You will design LV electrical systems for wastewater and non-infrastructure work, develop single line diagrams and control philosophies, prepare calculations and technical reports, and participate in design reviews, HAZOPs, and client meetings, collaborating with

Qualifications

• UK water sector experience required.
• Experience on wastewater/non-infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of LV systems, motors and instrumentation.
• Ability to produce electrical design documents to industry standards.
• Exposure to AMP working frameworks.
• Able to work in a consultancy with multidisciplinary teams.
• Willingness to travel to sites on occasion.

Responsibilities

• Electrical design across wastewater treatment and non-infrastructure projects.
• Produce calculations, specifications and technical reports.
• Develop LV electrical designs, single line diagrams and control philosophies.
• Support design reviews, HAZOPs and client meetings.
• Collaborate with mechanical, process and civil disciplines.
• Support MEICA integration throughout the project lifecycle.
