Job summary

Advance TRS in Leeds is seeking a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to work on Yorkshire Water framework projects, including clean and wastewater schemes. The role is hybrid, with site work across the region and a focus on motor control, LV distribution, cabling, instrumentation, industrial networks, PLCs and SCADA.

You will deliver high-quality electrical designs, specifications and procurement documentation, and interact closely with clients to meet project objectives.

Qualifications

• Water industry experience
• Experience delivering outputs in line with design, quality and safety standards
• Willingness to travel to sites across your operational region

Responsibilities

• Preparing and reviewing electrical engineering designs for water treatment equipment on client sites.
• Producing and reviewing technical specifications and schedules for procurement activities, reviewing supplier tender bids and technical submissions.
• Understanding, applying and contributing to design standards with knowledge of Client and WIMES standards.
• Engaging with the client, building relationships and supporting them to achieve their aims

Education

Degree in Electrical Engineering

Chartered or incorporated member of professional institution (ICE/IMeche)
