Job summary

Full Circle Technical Recruitment is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer for the UK water sector. The role supports multiple projects, producing electrical design documentation and aiding specification, procurement and inspection of control panels and equipment.

The position allows London or remote work within the UK, with travel to fabricators as needed. Ideal candidates will have experience with electrical schedules and technical documentation, plus familiarity with water/utility

Qualifications

Experience producing electrical schedules, specifications and technical documentation.
Experience with the specification, procurement or inspection of control panels.
Experience within water, wastewater, utilities or a similar industrial environment.
Experience with contractor or design-and-build environments would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

Produce and develop electrical design documentation across multiple projects.
Prepare electrical schedules, technical specifications and associated design deliverables.
Support the specification and procurement of control panels and related electrical equipment.
Review supplier and panel manufacturer documentation.
Attend panel fabricators for inspections and Factory Acceptance Testing as required.
Work with project, process, mechanical and commissioning teams throughout delivery.
Liaise with suppliers, fabricators, clients and project stakeholders.
Ensure designs comply with standards and client requirements.
Manage design activities across several concurrent projects.
Work independently after induction and provide technical guidance to the team.
