Job summary

Storal Learning Ltd. in the United Kingdom seeks a Senior Early Years Educator (Nursery Room Leader) to lead a team in a busy outdoor nursery.

You will develop high-quality care and learning experiences, supervise staff and ensure EYFS compliance while building a safe, inclusive environment for children. You will deliver care daily, maintain records, conduct team appraisals, and partner with room leads and management to ensure smooth nursery operations.

Qualifications

• A Level 3 or above qualification within early years.
• Proven experience working as an Early Years Educator (Nursery Nurse/Practitioner).
• Knowledge and understanding of the EYFS.
• Excellent communication skills with both children and adults.
• Reflecting the Storal values around responsibility, openness and working together.

Responsibilities

• Day to day, you will deliver care to the children whilst also supervising your team.
• You’ll identify areas for improvements whether that relates to learning and teaching techniques or creating more stimulating experiences and environments.
• You will embrace inclusivity to ensure the individual needs of all those within your room are met.
• You’ll be responsible for ensuring all record keeping requirements are regularly completed, as well as conducting your team appraisals.
• As the Senior Early Years Educator (Nursery Room Leader) you will work in partnership with other Room Leads and the management team to ensure the successful running of the nursery.

up to £14.68 per hour (depending on experience and qualifications)

How you’ll spend your time here
